Blackbirds
Blackbirds
cry, shadows streaming across orange-streaked skies,
Scratching
verses into the walls of this valley wrapt with echoes –
Their
silken patterns criss-cross in shimmering slides of movement,
Flickering dark ghosts between the green, twitching leaves.

Nice, full of good imagery. If you don't mind a suggestion: You rarely need to use the work "Like" to use a simile. This poem would work just as well without it.
