A Poem a Day (159): Bow after rain

Bow after rain

A splash of colour in the sky,
Delicious curve drawn on high.
This floating prism calls
Upon the humidity of rainfall.

Shimmer of yellow, purple, red,
Keeping hope and nature fed.
An imaginative arch, catch-all
Of our childlike dreaming scrawl.
