A Poem a Day (53): 6 haiku

Ginger-laced biscuits
Don’t taste half as good as when
Dipped in fresh brewed tea

Panda prints in snow;
He peeks at me as he goes,
Freeze-framed ‘gainst this wall

This torn creeping flesh
Bubbles blood, bursts crimson pain;
Twisting heads crack bones

Answer if I call
Unreciprocated fool
Miss Pretence wonders

Invisible walls
Shift and part to lead the dance
In this maze of life

The mightiest voice
Trapped in a fissure so small
Whimpers in the dark
