A Poem a Day (17): Some haiku

Five-minute poems to keep writing every day...

Some haiku

Trembling on a leaf
Yellow wings, dotted with black,
She flutters and flies

With just a knife, she
Splats a zillion zombies,
Only to be spam!
(RIP Andrea!!)

Darkness rises, here
In the pit plunging down - where
Fear hides itself

Scurrying away,
Whiskers twitch, a latch clicks back -
Cheese rockets his way!

Tomorrow, he thinks
As the white blanket rises
On the sleeping field

He watches the tide
Sliding back and forth, waiting
As his heart splinters
