A Poem a Day (10): haiku

Five-minute poems...

Some haiku

We dance on water
When the roar becomes too much,
Smiling 'gainst the tide

In sparks of pure white
Sunlight splinters the morning -
A rush of birdsong

Tweeting from above,
Silhouettes of feathered shapes
Dot the empty roofs

In an old blues voice
He recalls a pure lost love
On the radio

Jane never minded
The rows or women, but too
Much was that snoring

Suck the creamy taste;
Pure white decadence unwrapped -
Milky Bar all gone...
